About us...

I Hellmut Fischer was born in Namibia and grew up very close to Namibian nature and beauty on my parents ferm Omongongua which is a cattle and hunting farm of approximately 6000 Hectares. Since my youth I have travelled extensively through Namibia and the neighbouring countries of Zimbabwe and Botswana. I am well aqainted with the flora and fauna of Namibia.
My mother tongue is german and I also speak English, Afrikaans and understand a little bit of Portugueses. My wife, Gabi was born here and grew up in Brazil. She learned to love me and Namibia when she once came here on holiday and feels at home here.
We are looking forward welcoming you on our HUNTING FARM and offer you besides the hunt to show you the beautiful places in our country, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Travel with us: NAZIMBO CAMPING SAFARIS.

The Ombotozu Conservancy covers 400.000 ha .
Hunting day for one hunter, inclusive vehicle, guide and full board (3 meals)

Services not included in quoted prices:

Preparation of trophies

Packing and despatch of trophies, accommodation at other hunting ranches, alcohol, personal expenses.

If hunted on other ranches we charge € (Euro)0,45 per km.

80% of quoted prices will be charged for wounded animal.


Important Informations

Our farm is situated 163 km from the Windhoek airport.

Hunting season in Namibia:
1 February until 30 November.

Omongongua Hunting Farm issues insurance policies which are reqired by the 'Namibia Professional Hunting Association' (Personla liability). We advise to obtain a comprehensive foreign travel insurance.

It is recommendable to bring your own rifle with . Rifles with a calibre of more than 7mm are required.



Clothing
Durable garments in khaki or green and light comfortable shoes are recomended. Warm clothing is necessary for winter months (mid May - mid August).
Climate
Day temperatures of between 30C - 40C are experienced from mid September till March. Sub zero temperatures offen occur during winter.


Liability
We can not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, losses, damages or delays which might occur during the hunt or your stay with us. Every precaution however will be taken to ensure your safety.
