Our guestfarm is situated in the beautiful southwestern landscape between the Duwisib Castle and the little town of Helmeringhausen.
Nesteled in between this stunning scenery our guestfarm is an ideal stopover on your journey from Sesriem /Sossusvlei to Lüderitz, from Maltahöhe past the Duwisib Castle to Lüderitz, or from the Fishrivercanyon or Lüderitz to Sesriem /Sossusvlei or Maltahöhe.

In the middle of our beautiful garden with its huge shade trees and lawn we offer 6 doublerooms each with own bathroom and toilet and our guests enjoy a very personel and familylike atmosphere.

Sinclair is also famous for it's excellent food with lots of homemade farmproducts - like jams, juices, bread and cakes as well as homemade cheeses and sausages.
Of course we also offer a variety of South African wines and our famous Namibian beer.

In the vicinity of the farmhouse (3km walking trail) is an old copper mine - actually one of the oldest in the country. That's also how Sinclair's got it's name - when the Scottish geologist Sinclair started mining here in 1870 and the farm was named after him. Appart from copper they started mining a pinkish quarz called 'Erdbeerquarz' at a later stage and exported that to Idar Oberstein in Germany to make jewellery. So our mine is a real paradise for all those who like to collect stones and hobbygeologists.

The fascinating scenery of our landscape gives you ample opportunities for outstanding photographs. You can go for a walk or drive and enjoy the quiet atmosphere and vast scenery of our farm.
At sunset you can sit in the garden and enjoy your drink or join us on one of our beautiful sundowner drives.
