Dorka has been owned by the family von Leipzig for 45 years now and is situated 76km eastern
from the Windhoek airport, with only 45 minutes driving time from there. It is a hunting and
cattle farm, being right in the middle of the open grass savanna with many acacia trees in
between. The southern part is fenced off by a mountain range and several smaller hills lay
on the farm.
Hunting possibilities are the Omitara Conservancy, which contains ca 50000ha. More Conservancy
areas of ca 60000ha are available for hunting as well, a large variety of game can be chosen.
Ethnical hunting is practiced during foot marches, as well as through hiding possibilities
and bow hunting.
